My Scrap Philosophy

Bio Picture: My sister, Caitlin, and I with our Yorkies Bella and Jacob.Bio

My name is Adrienne and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I have been creating scrapbooks for over 15 years now. My love for everything creative started at a young age when I wrote and illustrated my first short story in Kindergarten. Writing is a true passion of mine--I just love words!

I also enjoy music and have been playing the flute for over 18 years. During high school I was a member of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and was able to tour with the group to Europe; including Austria where we performed in concert at the world's premier music school, the Mozartseum, as well as to New Zealand and Australia, where we performed in the Sydney Opera House.

In high school I fell in love with journalism after taking my school's TV news class. I then attended Colorado State University and earned my degree in Technical Journalism with a concentration in TV News and Broadcast Journalism. While in college, I learned about photography and cinematography, how to use Photoshop as well as how to build websites. Since graduating, I have worked at several news stations and production companies and am currently the Post-Production Supervisor and Editor for a non-profit production company that creates documentaries.

Philosophy

Scrapbooking is fun, but I also take it seriously. My goal is to help you preserve your memories in a unique and creative way. I take the time to learn what style, colors and themes you like best! I'm detail-oriented and not afraid to think outside the box--but am absolutely comfortable with the classic as well.

I'm ready to take on your scrap project no matter how big or small. Visit my gallery to see examples of my work, then head to my store to place your order!
