My name is Adrienne Boese and I live in Colorado and have been creating scrapbooks for over 20 years now. My love for everything creative started at a young age when I wrote and illustrated my first short story in Kindergarten. Writing is a true passion of mine and I absolutely just love words! Creativity is truly a part of my soul.
I am currently an affiliate with Scrapbook.com as well as Spellbinders, and have been a Guest Designer for Reneabouquets. I have created many different types of scrapbooks over the years for my clients including wedding albums, childhood memory albums, memorial albums and more.
I also enjoy music and have been playing the flute for over 25 years. During high school I was a member of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and was able to tour with the group to Europe; including Austria where we performed in concert at the world's premier music school, the Mozartseum; as well as New Zealand and Australia, where we performed in the Sydney Opera House.
Besides scrapbooking, I currently also do work as a contract social media and marketing professional, including project management work. I have also continued my love for music and perform in three local music groups: The Little London Winds (piccolo, concert flute) and Skylark Flute Quartet (piccolo, concert flute, bass flute). Recently I also composed my own piece of music literature, titled Shadow Suite, for flute choir. The premier performance of my piece was on October 20, 2019 at the Ent Center for the Performing Arts.
Paper crafting and scrapbooking is my Wonderland! I'm also a huge fan of singer/songwriter Jewel, who has a song titled, Goodbye, Alice in Wonderland. It's about the passage of time and growing up, somthing that scrapbooking in particular is all about. And that is how I came up with the name Alice Scraps Wonderland.
My goal is to inspire you each and every day with with unique and creative ideas! I believe that the paper crafting community is better when we all share our ideas, tips and knowledge. I also believe that there are no silly questions, so don't be afraid to ask me questions! I don't view my techniques as a secret to be kept, but knowledge to be shared with my fellow crafters.
